need windows xp product key
i just got this disk of windows xp and i lost theprouduct key what can i do
i went lost the product key that is window xp how i can get it
I am installing windows XP professional on my computer that I had just bought and there is nothing on it at all and I don’t have the Product key for my windows XP disk so how can I finish the application?
i had to reinstall my windows xp disk and now it wont let me use my product key….. what can I do I am now unable to do anything on my computer when i go to log on it says i cannot logon untill i activate and it takes me to the activation screen…. can someone please help!!!

go to your cd and do an advance search includes all hidden files; then search under unattend.txt your product key is in it.
i did the unatend thing and it worked for me but ive sen some people on other pages saying it didnt work for them so its worth a try it could solve your problem it might not help you though
I am unable to retrieve my product key. I inserted the key on the bottom of my lap top, but was told it was invalid. I called the microsoft contact # to no avail. I reached AUtomated and it did not help. I am now on a 60 day trial period and am frustrated.
